Hog Hollow Country Lodge - Your Stay in The Crags

Each suite features a private balcony overlooking the Tsitsikamma Mountains and Matjies River Gorge. Rooms are decorated with colorful fabrics and original African artefacts, and include a minibar, safety deposit box, and air conditioning. The spacious bathrooms have a shower and bath. Turndown service brings chocolates and a storybook, while hot water bottles are placed in the bed on cooler nights. Family suites are also available.

The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a served continental buffet with hot dishes cooked to order; guests can eat on the terrace with valley views. Dinner must be pre-ordered before 6pm and includes dishes like seafood and lamb curry. The bar offers a selection of wine and champagne, and packed lunches can be arranged. Special dietary menus are available on request.

The outdoor swimming pool overlooks the gorge and is surrounded by sun loungers and shaded seating. A sauna is available for guests. The lodge sits on the edge of the Matjies River Gorge, a 10-minute drive from Keurbooms Beach and 18 kilometres from Plettenberg Bay. Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, and the Elephant Sanctuary are within a 15-minute drive. Nature's Valley is 20 minutes away. A car is necessary - free and accessible parking is provided. All cottages require walking on steps; no ramps are available.

Daily housekeeping cleans rooms three times a day. The concierge desk assists with booking local activities and tours. Luggage storage and a tour desk are on site. Babysitting and child services are offered, along with board games and puzzles. The staff will also wash your car and help with laundry and ironing.
